Made it back to the gym this morning. I feel better already. Just feel like I have more energy, more ready to face the day.
So I did manage to wake up and get to the gym by 5:30. I hit the elliptical right off and just like a race I was out of the gates quickly. This of course was followed by me feeling like I was going to die about 2 minutes in. I slowed down and grabbed the side rails and hung on until I finally caught my breath a bit. I then got in a rhythm and manged to knock out a total of 30 minutes. I was tired. I had to use the side rails several times but I made it. I started to do some lifting after, but was just to tired. After a shower I felt refreshed and ready for the day.
I had forgotten that getting up and working out in the morning is a good thing. It just makes you feel better. My mood of late has been for crap. I know that getting some kind of workout in helps. Just gotta keep it up!

Hey there! Just came across your blog and realized that we're both in the KC area! So you're in good company!! I'll be following you and keeping up with your progress!! MIZ!!
Exercising in the morning gets your blood flowing and elevates your mood. Not to mention, you get the exercise over with and you do not have to stress about it all day long.
The Diet Solution
Continue with the right exercise regimen and you'll be on your way to lose weight.
You are right, there is nothing like getting two for the price of one. You hit the gym to lose weight and at the same time you feel good about yourself. Good on you!
Good idea, go back to gym for exorcise,Excellent post, thanks!
I guess the main thing is your doing something and that is inspiring. I have my times when I don't want to workout and just don't. But after reading this post I fell that I am not alone and that somehow helps. Thanks for the motivation!! So I guess I will have to hit the gym first thing in the morning myself right? LOL
Hello there, my name is Edward Platz. I have to say that you are an inspiration to me as I am also a former overweight person.
Two years ago, I was overweight and have all the related problems: health problems, family problems, emotional problems…
At this very day, after 15 months of smart fitness training, not only that I have lost 54 pounds of body fat, but I also succeeded in building a lean and much stronger physique. I am in the best shape of my life and as healthy as I can be!
I am a 36 year old man and a full time single parent of a 7-year-old daughter. I have a very demanding job. And, according to my doctor, my biological age is now, no more then 27! In addition, my ex-wife thinks I am super hot…
Well, what do you think about that? …No, not about the “ex-wife thing”…
At this very moment, I can live the life most people cannot, because I decided to do what most people do not: start a very smart fitness program and a tasty diet plan.
So, please Be Strong and Patient! Persevere!
To your best year ever!

Great article ever.Love this post.Let lose weight by do workout and diet for the sake of our health.God bless you.
Hoping you're still going at it. Noticed you haven't blogged in a while. I know its easy to lose motivation. Don't give up! Keep up the fight!
One thing that has kept me motivated recently is ABC's Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition. Each Monday at 10 is a new episode about someone just like me and you and the most important year of their lives. Sometimes the fail. Sometimes they succeed. Regardless its an emotional motivator that means so much to me right now. Kudos to you and your journey.
Congrats on what you have achieved so far.Keep it up.Don't quit.CHAMPS never give in.Keep your eyes on the prize.See the end from the beginning.
Last week,I ended phase 1 - 12 weeks of doing only the "fat burning furnace" weights resistance program, 3 days a week and have lost 22 pounds - from 238 lbs to 216 lbs.I could not believe how much I had lost when I stepped on the scale.I stepped again on the scale several times to make sure I wasn't hallucinating!I did not do any special dieting.I tried to eat more veggies but also ate white bread and white rice.I drank half a gallon of iced water during my workouts. My 1st phase workouts were all strength focused routines. The goal of phase 1 was to build overall body strength.
I am now onto another 12 weeks(phase 2) doing machine/free weights, bodyweight exercises and sprints combination circuits to get rid of more fat. This 2nd phase, I am doing 2 sessions(on Monday & Friday)of various HIIT combined exercise conditioning drills invoving bodyweight, free weights, stretch bands, sprints and 400 metre runs. These sessions are short and intense, lasting maximum 30 minutes.I will do one session (Wednesday) of strength training using free and machine weights lasting half an hour.My 1st phase weight routines took 30 minutes to complete. My goal for phase 2 is to strip the excess fat especially around my belly and build body function endurance.I will reduce my intake of white processed foods and limit portion sizes.
For me as a 38yr old man, weight resistance training has certainly fired up my metabolism and burnt a good amount of fat.
Keep your head up.The road to glory is a long travelled one, filled with potholes. But it will be worth it.You are the master of your own destiny, champ.Never quit.
Keep motivated there are so many people who just stop going to the gym. Don't be one of them.
Hey buddy thanks for sharing very wonderful experience with us. I quit going to gym but after reading it i have started again. Thanks for boosting.
