Nip it in the bud

I have noticed over the last week or so that my late evening cravings are getting worse. My will power is waining and the urge to eat something that late in the evening is growing. This is not because I am hungry as I am wanting something shortly after my dinner. When I am snacking I am picking up the right things and staying within my points for the day but it am just noticing it getting worse. The only thing I can think that is missing is my skinny cow ice cream sandwiches. I ran out and have not been back to the store to get more. The other difference is that I am working out in the morning and have less to do in the evening. Of course I could clean the house or do laundry, but that is no fun. So I am left with the dilemma, who do I curb my evening cravings? Thoughts or suggestions?

I think it'll be easier when this crap weather passes and it's nicer to be outside. :) I'm so bitter about this weather. haha!

Maybe you need to eat more at dinner? Sometimes if I don't eat enough during the day I am ravenous at night. Also..water, water, water! A baked potato also usually fills me up!

This too shall pass. Whenever I get cravey, I just reflect upon my successes in weight loss and remind myself I didn't get there by cheating. Or...go to to the WW website and look at your progress chart.

OR go to the BMI calculator and play around with the numbers:

http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/

Put in your height and current weight and other weights of small victories along the way. See what your goal weight BMI would be. See what what happen if you relapsed 10 or so pounds.

That always makes me not want to eat junk!

BTW, Skinny Cow has saved my life more than once. Expensive little buggers, but worth every cent.

Thanks for sending me the link, I can't believe I'm just now getting in on this great journey...

So proud of you dude, just make sure by losing weight you don't lose the big drives off the tee otherwise we're doomed as scramble partners!!!!

Go to bed? I'm so tired at night that even when I am hungry I just go to bed instead of eat. Or fall asleep on the couch thinking about what I could snack on! :P
